The Old Parsonage, Stenner Lane, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2RQ
Based in the lovely Didsbury Parsonage, we will hopefully also be able to spend some time outside, weather permitting. After a warm up with oil pastels we will enjoy noticing and being with the beautiful colours of Summer, and have time to reflect on how we resonate with this season.
No artistic experience needed at all! Materials will be provided.
This workshop is the second in a series: ‘In awe of Nature – Art for the Soul’. Each workshop will use a different medium to explore form and theme related to the season: Spring- watercolour pencils – shape – new growth and hope; Summer – pastels – colour – expansion; autumn – clay – 3D form – harvest; winter – pencil/charcoal – line – structure.
Tickets are £15 including all materials and light refreshments. Concessions £8 – please email for concessions: steffie.elhassan@hotmail.co.uk

I’m happy to be restarting in-person Therapeutic Arts Workshops and will continue to offer them online also. The first workshops Introduce Therapeutic Arts through the theme of Restriction and Freedom. Click below for details:
A creative mark-making workshop exploring our menopause journey and experiences. Every woman experiences this major life transition, which can have a massive impact on our physical and mental health and be experienced very differently. Yet most of us go through it without having much chance to process, reflect and discuss with other women. Hopefully this workshop offers an opportunity to do just that in a creative way, wherever you are on your menopause journey! No artistic experience needed, just a willingness to have a go with art materials. The workshop will include small zoom ‘breakout’ groups.
We’ll be making marks to reflect symptoms, our journey and feelings, and also support and self care. Working with art materials offers a way of expressing thoughts and feelings without relying on words. If you’d like a fun but meaningful space, this workshop is for you. All women of any age welcome.

Booking for 27th June:
Continuing our reflections on the pandemic through Therapeutic Arts, these workshops are stand alone so you are welcome whether you have attended a previous one or not. Each workshop introduces a different art form and will include warm up activities so don’t worry if you’re new to this art form.
